Kalona ist ein kleiner Ort im Washington County in Iowa. Sehenswert ist das Museumsdorf, in dem Häuser, eine Kirche, eine Bahnstation und verschiedene alte Fahrzeuge besichtigt werden können. Auch eine Ausstellung gehört dazu. Die Häuser sind historisch eingerichtet und vermitteln einen guten Eindruck über das tägliche Leben zur damaligen Zeit. Alles ist gut erhalten und wird liebevoll von Freiwilligen betreut.
