Ugu ist ein Distrikt innerhalb der Provinz KwaZulu-Natal in Südafrika. Er hat 709.917 Einwohner (Stand: 24. Oktober 2007)[1] auf einer Gesamtfläche von 5.047 Quadratkilometern. Sitz der Distriktverwaltung ist Port Shepstone. [2]

Der Distriktname bezieht sich auf das Zulu-Word für Küste. [3]
