Michael Flood

Michael Flood ist ein australischer Soziologe mit Schwerpunkt Männerforschung.

Er ist auch Herausgeber der International Encyclopedia of Men and Masculinities und von XYonline, einem profeministischen Online-Magazin, dass Forschungsmaterialien und Kommentare zu Männlichkeit, männlicher Sexualität, Männerbewegung und Feminismus bereitstellt. 2005 erhielt er seinen PhD in Gender and Sexuality Studies an der Australian National University.

Im Moment lehrt und forscht er als Postdoctoral fellow am zur La Trobe University gehörenden "Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society", schreibt regelmäßig für Online Opinion und gelegentlich arbeitet er für die Australian Broadcasting Commission und den Sydney Morning Herald. Zuvor war er Research Fellow am The Australia Institute.
