Lute Olson

Lute Olson

Robert „Lute“ Olson (* 22. September 1934 in Mayville, North Dakota) ist ein US-amerikanischer Basketballtrainer.

Seit 1983 trainiert er die Mannschaft der University of Arizona. Zuvor war er von 1969 bis 1973 beim Long Beach City College, von 1973 bis 1974 bei Long Beach State und von 1974 bis 1983 bei der University of Iowa engagiert. Seine Gesamtbilanz als College-Trainer beträgt 711-249.

Am 27. September 2002 wurde Olson in die Basketball Hall of Fame aufgenommen.
