Annabelle Isabella Blunt, geborene King-Noel, 15. Baroness Wentworth (* 22. September 1837; † 15. Dezember 1917), auch bekannt als Lady Anne Blunt, war mit ihrem Ehemann Wilfrid Scawen Blunt Mitbegründerin des Gestüts Crabbet Park Arabian Stud.
Leben
Lady Anne war die Tochter von Ada Lovelace und Enkelin von Lord Byron. Sie sprach fließend Französisch, Deutsch, Italienisch, Spanisch und Arabisch und war eine gute Violinistin und Kunstkennerin. Nach ihren Aufzeichnungen verfasste ihr Mann „Bedouin Tribes of the Euphrates“ und „A Pilgrimage to Nejd“. Sie wurden 1985 von Rosemary Archer und James Fleming als „Lady Anne Blunt: Journals and Correspondence 1878-1917“ in der Originalversion herausgegeben.
Blunt und Lady Anne heirateten am 8. Juni 1869, die Ehe stand aber unter keinem guten Stern. Trotz vieler Schwangerschaften überlebte nur eins der Kinder Lady Blunts, ihre Tochter Judith Anne Dorothea Blunt-Lytton. Ihr Mann machte jedoch kein Hehl daraus, dass er einen Sohn bevorzugt hätte, und hatte eine Vielzahl von Geliebten. 1906 verließ Lady Anne ihn, als die damalige Mätresse ihres Mannes Dorothy Carleton in das Anwesen der Eheleute einzog. Das Gestüt wurde geteilt und Lady Anne siedelte nach Sheykh Obeyd Garden über, nahe Kairo, wo sie den restlichen Teil ihres Lebens verbrachte. Das Gestüt wurde nach dem Tod der Eltern von ihrer Tochter wieder vereinigt.
