Hoima ist eine Stadt im Westen Ugandas mit etwa 39.644 Einwohnern. Sie ist die Hauptstadt des gleichnamigen Distrikts Hoima.

Die Stadt ist das Zentrum des Volks der Bunyoro. Die Mparo Tombs, die Grabstätten der letzten Könige (Omukama) der Bunyoro, liegen etwa 4 km außerhalb Hoimas bei Mparo. Zudem ist die Stadt Sitz des katholischen Bistums Hoima.
