Doron M. Grossman

Doron M. Grossman (* 1956 oder 1957; † 3. April 2005 in Addis Abeba) war ein israelischer Diplomat.

Grossman wurde in den 1990er Jahren als Diplomat tätig. Sein erster Posten führte ihn nach Wien, wo er an der israelischen Botschaft erst als erster Botschaftsrat und später dann als Gesandter fungierte. Während seiner weiteren diplomatischen Karriere war er Botschafter im Senegal, sowie ab 2002 Botschafter in Äthiopien. Für 2005 war seine Versetzung nach Südafrika vorgesehen.

Am 31. März 2005 wurde Grossman mit einer Schusswunde am Kopf in seiner Wohnung in Addis Abeba gefunden. Wenige Tage später erlag er seinen Verletzungen. Erste Ermittlungen der Polizei gehen davon aus, dass es sich bei Grossmans Tod um Suizid handelt. Grossman hatte kurz vor der Tat von seiner Krebserkrankung erfahren.

Er wurde auf dem Har Hamenuchot-Friedhof in Jerusalem beigesetzt.
