Johannes Cornelis "Hans" van Baalen (* 17. Juni 1960 in Rotterdam) ist ein niederländischer Politiker der Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie (VVD).

Leben

Nach seiner Schulzeit in Krimpen aan den IJssel studierte van Baalen Rechtswissenschaften an der Universität Leiden. Von 1999 bis 2002 sowie von 2003 bis 2009 war van Baalen Abgeordneter in der Zweiten Kammer der Generalstaaten. Seit 2009 ist er Mitglied des Europaparlaments.

Hans van Baalen ist verheiratet und Vater eines Sohnes.

In Nicaragua ist van Baalen persona non grata.[1]
