(1971)Trespass ist das zweite Album der Rockband Genesis. Es erschien im Oktober 1970 und ist das einzige Album mit John Mayhew am Schlagzeug. Nach dem Debüt From Genesis To Revelation gilt Trespass als erstes Progressive-Rock-Album der Band.

Das Schlagzeugspiel von Mayhew ist sanft und passt sich der ruhigen Atmosphäre des Albums an. Peter Gabriel spielte – neben seinem gefühlvollen, teilweise an Folk erinnernden Gesang – auch noch Querflöte. Als bekanntester Song des Albums gilt The Knife, der mit seiner rauen und Hammond-Orgel-lastigen Instrumentierung einen Kontrastpunkt zu den eher akustisch gehaltenen übrigen Titeln des Albums darstellt. Der Titel befand sich bis 1980 im Live-Repertoire von Genesis.
