Saqqez (persisch ‏سقز‎; kurdisch ‏سەقز‎, Seqiz) ist ein kurdische Stadt in der iranischen Provinz Kordestān. Der größte Teil der etwa 151.000 Einwohner sind Kurden, die Sorani sprechen.

Die Stadt liegt 1.493 Meter hoch. Die Winter sind kalt und schneereich, die Sommer heiß und trocken. Die ersten Bewohner der Stadt waren die Meder.
