Robert Olmstead

Robert M. Olmstead (* 3. Januar 1954) ist ein amerikanischer Schriftsteller. Zu seinem Werk gehören vier Romane, eine Sammlung von Kurzgeschichten und seine Memoiren.

Leben

Olmstead studierte an der Syracuse University. Der Guggenheim-Stipendiant war als Dozent am Dickinson College und an der Boise State University tätig. Derzeit ist er Dozent und Leiter der Abteilung für Kreatives Schreiben an der Ohio Wesleyan University.[1]

Bekannt wurde Olmstead vor allem durch seinen Bürgerkriegsroman Der Glanzrappe (2007).[2]
