Der Pulitzer Prize for the Novel wurde in den Jahren 1918 bis 1947 vergeben. 1948 wurde er in „Pulitzer Prize for Fiction“ umbenannt. Ausgezeichnet werden mit diesem Pulitzer-Preis Romane amerikanischer Autoren.
