Nanci Caroline Griffith (* 6. Juli 1953 in Seguin, Texas) ist eine US-amerikanische Country- und Folksängerin und Songschreiberin.

Griffith wurde 1953 in Seguin geboren und wuchs in Austin auf. Ihren ersten professionellen Auftritt hatte sie im Alter von 14 Jahren im Red Lion Club in Austin.

1994 wurde Griffith mit einem Grammy für das Beste zeitgenössische Folkalbum (Best Contemporary Folk Album) Other Voices/Other Rooms ausgezeichnet.

Zu den bekanntesten Stücken, die sie für andere Künstler geschrieben hat, gehören Listen to the Radio und Love at the Five and Dime, das für Kathy Mattea ein Top-Drei-Hit in den Countrycharts wurde. Der Song Outbound Plane, den Griffith zusammen mit Tom Russell schrieb, erreichte in der Interpretation von Suzy Bogguss Platz 9 der Countrycharts.

Nanci Griffith war von 1976 bis 1982 mit Sänger und Songschreiber Eric Taylor verheiratet.
