Wahlkreis Mpungu

Mpungu ist eine Ortschaft in der Region Kavango im Nordosten Namibias, rund 30 km westlich von Nkurenkuru. Zum gleichnamigen Wahlkreis Mpungu gehören neben diesen beiden Orten auch die Siedlungen Nepara und Katwitwi sowie insgesamt 18.332 Einwohner. Mpungu liegt 1.131 m über dem Meeresspiegel und rund 120 km östlich von Okongo in der Region Ohangwena. Mpungu wurde 1954 gegründet [1].
