Der autosomal-dominante Erbgang

Monilethrix (Spindelhaare) ist eine autosomal dominant vererbte Krankheit, die zu einer unregelmäßigen brüchigen Haarstruktur führt. Ursachen sind Punktmutationen in den zwei Keratingenen Hb1 und Hb6 auf Chromosom 12.[1]

Bei der Anomalie kommt es zu kurzen dünnen glanzlosen und in Abständen eingeschnürten Haaren, die wenige Millimeter über dem Haarboden abbrechen. Dies tritt hauptsächlich am Hinterkopf auf.
