Der Milton Keynes Lightning ist ein britischer Eishockey Verein, der in Milton Keynes, England ansässig ist. Derzeit spielt der Club erfolgreich in der English Premier Ice Hockey League (EPL). Ebenso ist er Gründungsmitglied der Elite Ice Hockey League.

Seine Heimspiele trägt Lightning im Planet Ice südlich der Milton Keynes Central Railway Station aus.

Arena Sanierung

Im November 2006 bewilligte die Bezirksregierung von Milton Keynes Pläne zur Sanierung der Arena, obwohl dies im Widerspruch zum Strukturplan des Bezirks stand. Trotzdem soll dies die Zukunft der Arena sichern.[4] Im Januar 2007 stimmte die Regierung der Sanierung der Arena zu, so dass der Umbau in Kürze beginnen kann.[5]. Der Umbau wird zusätzlich ein neues Kaufhaus des dänischen Möbelunternehmen ILVA und andere kleinere Einkaufsläden beinhalten.
