Louis-Alphonse Poitevin

Louis-Alphonse Poitevin (* 1819; † 1882) war ein französischer Fotopionier.

Er erfand 1855 den Gummidruck und den Pigmentdruck, der schnell populär wurde und auch noch heute von Fotografen und Künstlern praktiziert wird (siehe Edeldruckverfahren).

1856 erfand er die Collotypie, den Vorläufer des Lichtdruckes, den Joseph Albert 1867 perfektionierte.
