Lofn

Lofn (von altnord. lof "Erlaubnis, die Milde") ist in der nordischen Mythologie eine Asengöttin. Sie wird in der Edda als milde und gütig beschrieben und hat von Odin und Frigg die Erlaubnis bekommen, liebende Männer und Frauen miteinander zu verbinden und zu vermählen. Dies gilt für legitime, als auch für verbotene Lieben.

Möglich ist auch, dass Lofn ein anderer Name der Freyja ist.
