Loewi

Otto Loewi (* 3. Juni 1873 in Frankfurt am Main; † 25. Dezember 1961 in New York) war ein österreichisch/deutsch-amerikanischer Pharmakologe. Für ihre Entdeckungen bei der chemischen Übertragung der Nervenimpulse erhielten er und Henry H. Dale (US) 1936 den Nobelpreis für Medizin.
