Live Action

Realfilm (engl. live-action movie) bezeichnet einen Film oder eine Fernsehserie, die über lebende und reale Schauspieler verfügt. Das Gegenstück zum Realfilm ist der Animationsfilm.

Der Begriff Realfilm wird häufig zur Unterscheidung von Cartoon-Serien und ihren Spielfilm-Adaptionen, z. B. The Flintstones oder 101 Dalmatiner, verwendet; ebenso bei filmischen Mischformen wie dem Roger-Rabbit-Film.
