Leontopolis (griechisch Λεόντων πόλις) war der Name mehrerer Orte in der Antike:

  • Stadt in Ägypten mit jüdischem Tempel des Onias, heute Tell el-Yahudiya, 20 km nördlich von Heliopolis
    • Leontopolis in Augustamnica, auf einen Bischofssitz in dieser Stadt zurückgehendes Titularerzbistum der römisch-katholischen Kirche
  • Hauptstadt des 11. unterägyptischen Gaus Leontopolites, heute Tell el-Muqdam, 80 km nordöstlich von Kairo

Die folgenden auch Leontopolis genannten Orte waren hauptsächlich unter anderen Namen bekannt:

  • Zaliches, nahe bei Sinop, heute Alaçam in der Türkei
  • Isaura Nova in Isaurien
    • Leontopolis in Pamphylia, auf einen Bischofssitz in vermutlich dieser Stadt zurückgehendes Titularerzbistum der römisch-katholischen Kirche
  • Nicephorium in Syrien
