Leo F. Forbstein

Leo F. Forbstein (* 16. Oktober 1892 in St. Louis; † 12. Februar 1948 in Los Angeles) war ein US-amerikanischer Dirigent und Oscarpreisträger.

Forbstein lernte als Kind Violine und war, während der Stummfilmzeit, als Dirigent in Kinos tätig, unter anderem am Grauman’s Egyptian Theatre. Er erhielt 1937 einen Oscar für die beste Musik zum Film Ein rastloses Leben.
