Label [ˈleɪbəl] (englisch „Zettel“, „Schildchen“) steht für:

  • Etikett, mit dem zum Beispiel der Preis einer Ware ausgezeichnet wird
  • Label (Programmierung), ein Bezeichner innerhalb eines Programmcodes in einem Computerprogramm
  • Führungstext (Label), ein Ausgabefeld in einem Fenster zur Erklärung, welche Eingabe im nebenstehenden Eingabeobjekt erwartet wird
  • Label (Klassifikation), eine Bezeichnung für die Klassenzugehörigkeit für die Trainingsdaten beim Maschinellen Lernen
  • Labeling Approach, die Zuschreibung einer bestimmten Eigenschaft durch gesellschaftliche Gruppen an ein Individuum
  • Allgemein eine Marke als Wiedererkennungszeichen, siehe Marke (Marketing) und Marke (Recht), im Speziellen:
    • Prädikat (Qualität), ein Label als Prüfsiegel, Gütesiegel oder Qualitätssiegel
