LISB

LISB bedeutet Leit- und InformationsSystem Berlin und war um 1990 ein Feldexperiment für ein intelligentes Verkehrsmanagement. Zu diesem Zwecke wurden in Berlin eine Vielzahl von Lichtsignalanlagen (LSA) mit so genannten LISB-IR-Köpfen ausgestattet, über die Daten an die Fahrzeuge übertragen wurden. Die Studie wurde von der Siemens AG und vom Bundesministerium für Forschung und Technologie betrieben.

Nach dem Abschluss der Studie wurde die Infrastruktur (LISB-IR-Köpfe) nicht weiterverwendet und sukzessive wieder von den LSA demontiert. Heute übernehmen moderne Navigationssysteme die Funktionen von LISB.
