Kuummiut ist eine Siedlung im Ammassalik-Fjord im Osten von Grönland, die zur Kommune Sermersooq (bis 1. Januar 2009 zur Verwaltungsgemeinde Ammassalik) gehört. In dem Ort leben 384 Einwohner (2007).[1]

Kuummiut wurde im Jahre 1915 als Missionsstation gegründet.

Der Lebensunterhalt in Kuummiut wird vor allem durch Fischfang und Robbenjagd bestritten.
