Die Konzert- und Sporthalle KeyArena befindet sich in Seattle im US-Bundesstaat Washington. Sie beheimatet die Seattle Storm aus der Women’s National Basketball Association sowie die Seattle Thunderbirds aus der Western Hockey League.

Geschichte

Die Key Arena wurde 1962 unter dem Namen Seattle Center Coliseum eröffnet. Die Renovierung 1994 kostete die Stadt Seattle 74,5 Millionen Dollar und die Seattle SuperSonics etwa 21 Millionen Dollar. Während der Renovierung spielten die SuperSonics im Tacoma Dome und die Thunderbirds im Kent Events Center. Als die KeyBank sich die Namensrechte des Seattle Center Coliseum sicherte, wurde das Stadion in KeyArena unbenannt.

Bei Basketball-Spielen haben in der Halle 17.098 Zuschauer Platz, bei Eishockey-Spielen 15.177 Zuschauer.
