Joseph Aloysius Assemani

Giuseppe Luigi Assemani (* um 1710 in Tripoli (Libanon); † 9. Februar 1782 in Rom) war Professor der orientalischen Sprachen und der Liturgik in Rom.

Aus der Maronitenfamilie Assemani stammend, war er ein Neffe von Giuseppe Simone Assemani. Er war Professor für syrische Sprache am Collegium Sapientiae in Rom, später für Liturgie an der Päpstlichen Akademie dasselbst.
