Johnny O

Johnny O (* in Brooklyn, New York als Johnny Ortiz[1]) ist neben Stevie B einer der bekanntesten Sänger der Musikrichtung Freestyle. Seine Vorfahren stammen aus Puerto Rico und der Dominikanischen Republik. Er lebt mit seiner Familie in Florida.

Sein erfolgreichstes Album (von insgesamt acht) stammt aus dem Jahr 1988 und trägt den Titel Johnny O. Auf diesem Album befindet sich auch sein wahrscheinlich bekanntester Song Fantasy Girl, von dem es auch neuere Remixe gibt. Derzeit befindet sich Johnny O bei ZYX Music unter Vertrag.
