John Langdon Haydon Langdon-Down (* 18. Januar 1828 in Cornwall; † 7. Oktober 1896 in Normansfield) war ein britischer Apotheker und Arzt mit dem Fachgebiet Neurologie.

Auf ihn gehen unter anderem die Erstbeschreibungen des Williams-Beuren-Syndroms, des Prader-Willi-Syndroms und des nach ihm benannten Down-Syndroms (Trisomie 21) zurück. Letzteres beschrieb er im Jahre 1866 erstmals unter wissenschaftlich orientierten Gesichtspunkten und grenzte es von anderen damals bekannten Behinderungsformen ab. Nach wie vor bestimmen viele insbesondere körperliche Merkmale, die Langdon-Down seinerzeit beschrieb, das klinische Erscheinungsbild von Menschen mit Down-Syndrom (Trisomie 21).
