Johan Barthold Jongkind (* 3. Juni 1819 in Lattrop (in der heutigen Gemeinde Dinkelland, Overijssel); † 9. Februar 1891 in La Côte-St-André, Frankreich) war ein niederländischer Maler.

Er war der Sohn eines niederländischen Steuereintreibers. Er ist ein wenig bekannter Maler, von einigen Kunstexperten sogar als der eigentliche Begründer des Impressionismus eingeschätzt. Er wurde seinerseits von vielen späteren Impressionisten, wie Claude Monet oder Paul Signac als Vorbild verehrt. Jongkind selbst ließ sich von den Realisten, insbesondere von Camille Corot, inspirieren und wird deshalb mitunter auch zu den Malern des Realismus gezählt.

Jongkind gehört zu den Malern, die 1863 ihre Gemälde im Salon der Zurückgewiesenen ausstellte, nachdem die von ihm für den Pariser Salon eingereichten Gemälde durch die Jury abgelehnt worden war.
