Jewelled Sword of State

Das Jewelled Sword of State gilt als das schönste und wertvollste Schwert der Welt. Es wurde 1820 zur Krönung Georg IV. zu einem Preis von 6.000 Pfund hergestellt. Es präsentiert eine Fülle von Schmuckstücken in allen Farben und in Gold. Bei der Krönung wird dieses Schwert als eines der militärischen Embleme vom „Wächter des Juwelen-Hauses“ gehalten, um nach seiner Überreichung an den Monarchen durch diesen als Ehrengabe der Kirche übergeben zu werden. Es wird anschließend wieder ausgelöst. Aufbewahrung im Tower of London.
