American Record Company war ein US-amerikanisches Plattenlabel, das zwischen 1904 und 1908 aktiv war. Die Platten des Labels unterschieden sich von den üblichen schwarzen Platten durch ihre blaue Färbung. Das Etikett der Platten zeigte einen Indianer mit einer rauchenden Pfeife vor einem Phonographen.

American Record Company wurde 1904 von Ellsworth A. Hawthorne, Horace Sheble und Frederick M. Prescot in Springfield, Massachusetts, gegründet. Hawthorne und Sheble waren zuvor als Händler für Edison Records tätig, wo sie durch ihre fragwürdigen Geschäftspraktiken in Ungnade gefallen waren.

Die Firma wurde 1908 geschlossen, nachdem sie ein von Emile Berliner, Columbia Records und Victor Talking Machine Company angestrengtes Gerichtsverfahren wegen Patentverletzungen verloren hatte.
