Forschungstauchboot JAGO

JAGO ist das einzige bemannte deutsche Forschungstauchboot. Seit dem 1. Januar 2006 ist es im Dienste des Leibniz-Instituts für Meereswissenschaften (IFM-GEOMAR) in Kiel. Früherer Eigner war der Zoologe Hans Fricke vom Max-Planck-Institut für Verhaltensphysiologie in Seewiesen. JAGO kann bis maximal 400 Meter Wassertiefe tauchen und bis zu zwei Personen aufnehmen.
