Itabuna ist eine Stadt im Südosten des brasilianischen Bundesstaates Bahia. Sie hat 213.656 Einwohner (Schätzung 2009) und liegt 450 km südlich von Salvador.

Die Stadt wurde im Jahr 1910 aus einer um 1849 entstandenen Siedlung gegründet.

Berühmt ist Itabuna für das Jequitiba Plaza Center im Zentrum von Itabuna, welches vor allem von Jugendlichen als Treffpunkt angesehen wird.
