Ignition Entertainment ist ein Videospiel-Herausgeber, der im April 2002 gegründet wurde. Die Firma entstand aus mehreren kleineren Spieleverlagen, wie z. B. die Awesome Studios unter Archer Maclean.

Derzeit konzentriert sich Ignition Entertainment auf die Produktion von Spielen für Handhelds wie z. B. die PSP oder den Nintendo DS. Pool Paradise für den Gameboy Advance sowie Zoo Keeper für den DS oder Blade Dancer und PoPoLoCrois für die PSP sind Titel, die auf dieser Firma beruhen.

Das Unternehmen unterstützt beispielsweise SNK Playmore bei Spielen wie der Metal Slug-Reihe, Samurai Shodown-Reihe sowie bei der King of Fighters-Reihe.

Im Jahre 2005 kamen Spiele wie Archer MacLean's Mercury, The King of Fighters Neowave, oder Pool Paradise International hinzu. Im Jahr 2010 kam das Spiel Deadly Premonition für die Xbox 360 raus, für die PS3 gab es lediglich eine japanische Version mit dem Titel "Red Seeds Profile".
