Ifrane (arabisch ‏إفران‎, DMG Ifrān) ist eine Stadt im Norden Marokkos in der Region Meknès-Tafilalet. Die moderne gepflegte Kleinstadt in den Bergen des Mittleren Atlas ist ein beliebtes Schi-Resort für die marokkanische Mittel- und Oberschicht.

Bei der Volkszählung 2004 gab es 13.074 Einwohner, für 2010 wurden 14.274 Einwohner berechnet.[1] Ifrane liegt auf einer Höhe von 1650 Metern, 64 Kilometer südlich von Fès und 17 Kilometer nordöstlich von Azrou. In der Nähe liegt der Ifrane-Nationalpark.

Die 1995 eröffnete Al-Akhawayn-Universität[2] ist eine Eliteuniversität, die gemeinsam vom marokkanischen und vom saudiarabischen König gestiftet wurde. Das Curriculum folgt amerikanischem Vorbild und findet in englischer Sprache statt.
