Ibrahim Lodhi

Ibrahim II. († 20. April 1526) war der letzte Herrscher des Sultanats von Delhi. Er gehörte der paschtunischen Lodi-Dynastie an.

Ibrahim folgte seinem Vater Sikandar II. Lodi 1517 auf den Thron. Er musste zahlreiche Aufstände niederschlagen und zog sich die Missgunst der Oberschicht zu, indem er fast alle alten Beamten durch jüngere ersetzte. So fiel auch auf Betreiben der Oberschicht der afghanische Fürst Babur im Sultanat Delhi ein. Ibrahim fiel in der Schlacht von Panipat am 20. April 1526. Sein Sultanat wurde Teil des Mogulreichs.
