IBD

Unter chronisch-entzündlichen Darmerkrankungen (engl.: inflammatory bowel disease, IBD) versteht man wiederkehrende (rezidivierende) oder kontinuierliche entzündliche Erkrankungen des Darms. Die beiden häufigsten Vertreter sind die Colitis ulcerosa und der Morbus Crohn.[1][2][3] Seltener sind die kollagene und lymphozytäre Colitis, welche nur histologisch diagnostiziert werden können und daher zusammen als mikroskopische Colitis bezeichnet werden.
