Hungry Eyes ist ein Lied von Eric Carmen aus dem Jahr 1987, das von Franke Previte und John DeNicola geschrieben wurde. Zudem ist es Teil des Soundtracks zum Film Dirty Dancing.

Geschichte

Hungry Eyes wurde 1987 in den Beachwood Studios in Beachwood, Ohio aufgenommen. Nach der Veröffentlichung am 7. November 1987, erreichte es außerhalb der Vereinigten Staaten in Neuseeland[2] (Platz 18), Schweden[3] (Platz 6) und Niederlanden[4] (Platz 16). In Großbritannien erreichte es nur Platz 82.

In der Episode Zeugung verhindert von Family Guy singt Stewie das Lied, während er auf einem Klavier spielt. In der Episode Pedro Griffin der selben Serie hört man es, als der Charakter Patrick Swayze verhaftet wurde. Ebenfalls fand es auch in der Episode Mein Vater Bob Hope von Golden Girls seine Verwendung.
