Das Helmsley Building ist ein New Yorker Wolkenkratzer aus dem Jahr 1929.

Ursprünglich hieß das Helmsley Building New York Central Building. Das Gebäude wurde nach seinem neuen Eigentümer Harry Helmsley (1909-1997) umbenannt, der zu seinen Lebzeiten einer der größten Immobilien-Tycoone der USA war.

Der Verkehr der Park Avenue fließt durch zwei überdimensional große Torbögen im Sockel des Helmsley Building. Heutzutage wird es vom MetLife Building deutlich überragt, aber für den Verkehr in den New Yorker Hochhausschluchten dient das Helmsley Building immer noch als Orientierungspunkt.
