Hard House

Hard House

Hard House ist die Bezeichnung für eine Stilrichtung der Musik. Während sie zu Beginn der 1990er teilweise als Synonym für Hardcore Techno verwendet worden ist, meint man damit heute meist eine Version der House/-Dance-Musik, die im Tempo und der Monotonie gesteigert ist. Verwendete Klänge sind typischerweise sehr elektronisch und grob, typisch sind oft auch höhere Offbeats. Teilweise haben die Tracks auch Hard Trance-Einflüsse.

Hard House ist nicht zu verwechseln mit US/American Hard House.
