Der Geumgang („Goldfluss“, „Diamantfluss“, teilweise auch kurz Geum genannt) ist der drittlängste Fluss Südkoreas. Er entspringt in der Provinz Chungcheongbuk-do und mündet nach 401 km ins Gelbe Meer. Er war vermutlich schon in der Bronzezeit eine wichtige Verkehrsroute.

In der Region um Buyeogun trägt er den Namen Baengmagang („Fluss der weißen Pferde“). Ein bekanntes Volkslied, Kkumkkuneun Baengmagang (꿈꾸는 백마강, „Träumender Baengmagang“), besingt diesen Abschnitt des Flusses, in dem wahrscheinlich auch die historischen Königreiche Mahan und Baekje entstanden sind.
