George Town ist die Hauptstadt der Kaimaninseln. Sie liegt auf der Insel Grand Cayman und hat 30.600 Einwohner (Stand 2006)[1] und zählt somit zum britischen Überseegebiet.

George Town ist das Zentrum des Bankwesens der Kaimaninseln. In der Nähe der Stadt befinden sich Docks für Kreuzfahrtschiffe und der internationale Flughafen Owen Roberts International Airport. Die geographische Lage ist 19° 17′ N, 81° 22′ W19.283333333333-81.3666666666677Koordinaten: 19° 17′ N, 81° 22′ W. Auch sind viele Büros der Regierungsverwaltung in George Town ansässig, wie das des Leader of Government Business, der in etwa dem Regierungschef entspricht.
