G. Madhavan Nair

G. Madhavan Nair (* 31. Oktober 1943 in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, Indien) ist seit September 2003 Leiter der indischen Raumfahrtbehörde ISRO.

Madhavan Nair besuchte die Kerala University und schloss 1966 sein Ingenieurstudium ab.

Madhavan Nair gilt als Befürworter der Pläne des Präsidenten Abdul Kalam, aus Indien eine Raumfahrtnation zu machen.

Er wurde 2009 mit dem Padma Vibhushan ausgezeichnet.

Im August 2009 wurde G. Madhavan Nair zum Präsidenten der International Academy of Astronautics gewählt.[1]
