Fleece bezeichnet zweierlei:

  • auf englisch vom Schaf entnommene Wolle
  • Fleece (Stoff) englische und mittlerweile allgemein übliche Bezeichnung für eine Variante der synthetischen Wirkpelze, verwendet hauptsächlich für Winterbekleidung

Fleece ist trotz der ähnlichen Aussprache kein Vliesstoff.
