Executive One

Executive One ist das Funkrufzeichen eines jeden zivilen amerikanischen Luftfahrzeuges, das den Präsidenten der Vereinigten Staaten an Bord hat.

Dies kam bisher erst einmal vor, als Präsident Richard Nixon 1973 in einer DC-10 der United Airlines vom Washington Dulles International Airport zum Los Angeles International Airport flog. Bei dem Flug wurde das Rufzeichen allerdings nicht verwendet.

Zivile Luftfahrzeuge, die den Vizepräsidenten an Bord haben, führen den Funkrufnamen Executive Two. Der Funkrufname bei Flügen, bei denen nur die Familie des Präsidenten an Bord ist, lautet Executive One Foxtrot. Wenn nur Familienmitglieder des Vizepräsidenten an Bord sind, lautet er Executive Two Foxtrot.
