Airless

Airless ist ein luftlos zerstäubendes Farbspritzverfahren, bei dem das Material im Gegensatz zur Luftzerstäubung (Airmix) allein über den Materialdruck zerstäubt wird.

Eine elektrisch, pneumatisch oder mit Benzinmotor betriebene Pumpe setzt das Material unter Druck und presst eine definierte Menge an Material (Lack) mit bis zu 540 bar durch eine Düsenbohrung, die das Material in einen Sprühstrahl zerteilt.

Die Vorteile des Airless-Spritzens sind:

  • hohe Flächenleistung - schnelle Lackierung und Farbbeschichtung großer Flächen
  • geringerer Materialverbrauch (Farbe,Lack, Grundierungen) als beim Druckluftspritzen
  • weniger Sprühnebel als bei anderen Spritzverfahren.
  • großer Aktionsradius
  • perfekte Oberflächen - keine Bläschenbildung in der Oberflächenschicht, da ohne Luftzufuhr gespritzt wird

Der Nachteil besteht darin, dass beim Airless-Hochdruckspritzen nicht gebeizt und patiniert werden kann.

Zum Airless-Spritzen gibt es Hochdruck- und Niederdruckspritzen. Der Lack wird mit dem entsprechenden Druck durch die Düse der Spritzpistole gepresst und dadurch sehr fein zerstäubt. Es entsteht ein feiner Lacknebel, der sofort absinkt. Der Spritzraum wird dadurch kaum vernebelt und der Spritzverlust ist gering.
