Eine Freifallbombe, auch ungelenkte Bombe oder dumme Bombe (englisch dumb bomb, gravity bomb), ist eine Bombe, die ohne jegliches Lenksystem einfach auf ihr Ziel fällt.

Der Begriff dumme Bombe kam erst auf, als ca. 1970 die so genannten Präzisionsgelenkte Munition (engl. Smart Bombs) eingeführt wurden, die über ein Lenksystem verfügten.

Durch die rechnergestützte Berechnung des Aufschlagspunktes in modernen Flugzeugen können mittlerweile auch Freifallbomben relativ zielgenau abgeworfen werden. Um die Genauigkeit zu steigern, verfügen Freifallbomben auch über Leitflossen am Heck und werden nach dem Abwurf in eine Drehbewegung versetzt.
