Dominic Cooper (* 2. Juni 1978 in Greenwich) ist ein britischer Schauspieler. Er war im Fernsehen, Theater und Radio tätig, ebenso in Filmen wie Mamma Mia, Die Herzogin und Die History Boys – Fürs Leben lernen zu sehen.

Biographisches

Cooper wurde in Greenwich, London als Sohn einer Kindergärtnerin geboren und aufgezogen [1]. Er besuchte die Thomas-Tallis-Schule in Kidbrooke und wurde in der London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art ausgebildet, wo er 2000 seinen Abschluss machte. Bis zu seiner Rolle als "Dakin" in "History Boys - Fürs Leben Lernen" spielte Cooper eher unbedeutende Nebenrollen. Danach folgten größere Rollen wie die des "Sky" in "Mamma Mia!" und des Politikers "Charles Grey" in "Die Herzogin".
