Cyrus H. Gordon

Cyrus Herzl Gordon (* 1908; † 2001) war ein US-amerikanischer Semitist und Orientalist. Während des Zweiten Weltkrieges war er außerdem im Bereich der Kryptanalyse tätig.

Er erwarb seine akademischen Grade (B. A., M. A. und Ph. D.) an der University of Pennsylvania. Besonders bekannt geworden ist er für seine Arbeiten zum Ugaritischen.
